Key Responsibilities
  • SupportsindrivingtheentrenchmentofRiskCulture andEnterpriseriskmanagement, strategy,andobjective-setting enterprise-wide
  • Supports in strengthening the Enterprise Risk Management Framework organization-wideandparticularly fortheMerchant& FinancialInclusionGroups
  • Developsandensurestheimplementationof RiskManagementPoliciesandProcessed
  • Risk assessment: Conduct enterprise, ad-hoc, product and third-party risk assessments onBusiness Lines, new & existing Products and Services; Vendors and Third-party serviceprovidersinlinewithcertification,leadingpractice, andregulatorystandardsexpectations
  • Maintains working and up-to-date Risk Register, RCSA organization-wide and particularlyfortheMerchant& FinancialInclusion Groups
  • Ensuresnewandexistingproductscomplywithsetbaselines beforego-live
  • MerchantsandAgentsrisk &complianceoversightonnewandexistingrelationships
  • Develops risk awareness presentations and conducts same across Business Lines topromoteandraiseriskmanagementculture andawareness inthe organization
  • Provides risk expert advisory services on new initiatives and existing businessrelationships
  • DevelopsandoperatesRisk KeyPerformanceIndicatorsandRisk Analytics
  • SupportsoversightrelatingtoDataProtectionregulationsandprocesses
  • Supportsriskmanagementactivitiesinregionalcountriesandsubsidiaries
  • Develops Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for proactive risk monitoring organization-wide andparticularlyfortheMerchant& FinancialInclusionGroups
  • Prepares Risk Management reports for Department, Group, Senior Management and RiskCommitteeandtheBoard
  • Monitors and Reports Operational losses, Claims, and Refunds; Engages concernedBusiness groupstoperformrootcauseanalyseson identifiedrisk eventstorecommendimprovements to prevent these risk events from re-occurring in the future. Whennecessary,refertoInternalAuditforinvestigation.
AcademicQualification(s) EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE A first degree in a numerate discipline –Economics, Social Science, Accounting, Maths,Data Analyticsetc. ProfessionalQualification(s)anyleast2:ISO31000CRISCRIMANCRM Experience(Numberofrelevantyears)Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in RiskManagement in Technology, Financial or Paymentindustries.
