TITLE: Director, Product

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES: Manage direct reports for the product design (User Interface/User Experience) aspects of the product suite.

Lead the process of generating design solutions for the web applications that address business, brand, and user requirements.

Responsible for conducting user research while working closely with key stakeholders and clients to understand user requirements and usability issues.

Build highly scalable enterprise applications with emphasis on complex responsive UIs. Convert complex high volumes of data into usable visualizations/data management paradigms.

Formulate, decide, and implement the company's overall design strategy, development, and direction. Set the design vision for the company and articulate it to clients and internal teams.

Develop and implement internal design processes and review mechanisms of all design projects. Coordinate and implement delivery objectives, activities, or procedures to maximize product reliability and user experience.

Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and design sequences to meet project goals. Plan and establish sequence of operations to assemble parts or products and to promote efficient utilization

Work closely with the product managers, designers, engineers, business leaders and cross-functional team to help derive the process that increases productivity, profitability, and overall health to the product life cycle.

Apply digital design tools such as Sketch, Axure, Adobe Photoshop and Zeplin to create wireframes, prototypes, screen designs and workflows.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Product Design, Interaction Design, Architecture, or related.

Five (5) years in any occupation with experience designing and developing products, or related, must include: Product Development; Supervisory experience leading and managing a creative team; Experience designing enterprise B2B products; Experience with design research and validation methods; Experience in digital design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Design Suite; Rapid prototyping tools such as Axure, or Keynote; and SaaS Based collaboration tools such as G-Suite, Teams, or JIRA.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 15%-20% travel to Albuquerque, NM.

SALARY: $229,258 - $230,258 per year
