Why We Need you!

Ivanti is currently seeking several Software Engineering Interns to work on many aspects of our Ivanti Cloud platform and on-premise unified endpoint management solutions. A Software Engineer Intern on this team will be a cross functional member who can work within a highly experienced group of engineers, as well as collaborate with others outside of the team to build industry leading device and software normalization and storage solutions.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Development of Cloud-based (Azure) and/or on-premise applications for Unified Endpoint Management.

  • Deliver quality code via unit and integration testing through a suite of automated tests.

  • Work with the team who are all responsible for coding, testing, test automation, debugging, reliability and performance analysis in an Agile environment.

  • Support the application to go through the full product lifecycle, both during development and after release.

  • Work within a truly agile team that is willing to do whatever it takes to make the team successful.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

Required:

  • Experience using object-oriented programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or C++

  • Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices

  • Knowledge of coding best practices, performance, and scalability

  • Test automation, such as unit testing, automated system / integration testing

  • Is assertive and willing to take on tasks independently to work on

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Has a passion for solving real-world problems through software development and strong customer relationships

Preferred:

  • Clear understanding of Agile development methodologies, DevOps best practices, and the product development lifecycle

  • Experience working in a high availability cloud infrastructure

  • Experience with React, Angular, JavaScript Toolkits (jQuery), AJAX/JSON

  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes and tools (e.g., VSTS, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus)

Education:

  • Working towards Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related experience with hands on software development training
