What you’ll be doing…

Ivanti Neurons Engineering Program Management team is looking for an experienced Staff Program Manager in our Bangalore Software development center (ODC). The person should be able to prioritize well, communicate clearly and know how to drive a high level of focus within and across teams across the globe. We need someone with experience and knowledge of different SDLC and release models and best practices, has the flexibility to adapt their work style to the Product Lifecycle Process model for Ivanti Neurons and will ensure that product and feature releases are on time and maintain the high-quality bar required by Ivanti Neurons customers. The person in this role will heavily collaborate within Engineering and Product Management leadership teams and people to execute programs in accordance with the Ivanti Neurons PMO process.

  • Drive cross-functional team software delivery from end-to-end, covering key platforms.
  • Help drive Engineering Portfolio and program Management for assigned portfolio/programs to deliver against the annual product roadmap
  • Facilitate Release Planning & Retrospective and drive multiple releases/projects
  • Resource planning and reporting to ensure people are working on right priorities
  • Lead project scoping, project development, and project review meetings
  • Clarify, prioritize, and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability
  • Work closely with engineering teams to effectively coordinate complex design inter-dependencies
  • Define and drive the schedule for upcoming products, creating new and improving existing processes
  • Work with large geographically distributed development teams
  • Provide timely project/portfolio status updates, risks, and issues to all stakeholders.
  • Roll up your sleeves for not only drive activities on assigned programs but to help with other areas of india development center activities as well.
  • Experience working with Product Management, HR, IT, Facilities, Finance to track certain Engineering deliverables from India development center perspective.

  • Already working in R&D setup providing program management support.
  • Critical thinking and troubleshooting are paramount.
  • Strong organization skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Communication and presentation are critical.

What you’ve done…

  • 10+ years of Engineering Program Management experience managing enterprise software product releases with strong experience creating and rolling out processes
  • Solid understanding about engineering Portfolio Management and resource management aspects of Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in Agile development methods like Scrum, Kanban etc.
  • Expert user of JIRA or ADO, Confluence and other industry standard PPM/Agile tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and a multicultural workforce
  • Good understanding of key product release metrics such as DORA metrics
  • Good understanding of SaaS releases and DevOps Transformation.
  • Worked in Multinational Product companies (US) in Engineering environments where teams are located in the US, India and other locations.
  • Certified PMP
  • BS and/or MS degree is required in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
