What you’ll do:

• Manage the performance, tuning, and administration of security tools such as SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, and Container Security to ensure optimal security coverage and system efficiency.
• Build secure and automated connectors to ticketing systems like Jira and Azure DevOps (ADO), facilitating seamless integration and efficient incident management workflows.
• Design and implement an effective DevSecOps strategy by integrating security tools into the development pipeline and establishing robust security processes.
• Partner with development, operations, and security teams to design, deploy, and maintain collaborative DevSecOps solutions that address emerging security challenges.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to mature DevSecOps practices, processes, and tools, championing innovation and best-in-class security approaches.
• Collaborate to support, analyze, and integrate vulnerability scanning and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) results, delivering a unified risk picture for deployed applications.
• Advise teams by creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for security tools, processes, and procedures, ensuring knowledge sharing and operational consistency.

What you will bring:

• Over five years of experience in application development or DevOps roles, delivering robust solutions in dynamic environments.
• Strong technical background in security technologies, with hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps best practices.
• Expertise in platform or application engineering and operational support, with proficiency in CI/CD tooling such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub.
• Proven experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience implementing, configuring, and tuning Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, as well as scripting languages including ksh, Shell, and Groovy.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills, particularly with Bash and Python, to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, supporting and enabling peers in fast-paced, high-performance environments.
