What you’ll do
• Lead and manage a team of Java developers, overseeing application development and support
• Guide the design, build, and deployment of scalable Java/Spring Boot solutions aligned with business needs
• Collaborate across teams, defining project scope and deliverables with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers
• Enforce coding standards and best practices through code reviews to ensure high-quality development
• Mentor and coach team members, providing ongoing technical guidance and supporting their growth
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets—ensuring on-time and in-scope delivery
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and complex technical issues
• Drive hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development
• Stay updated on the latest Java, cloud, and containerization tools and trends
• Serve as technical escalation for critical project challenges

What you will bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 12–14 years’ relevant experience, with 3–4 years managing multidisciplinary development teams
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, building RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (data pipelines/streaming) and Redis (caching/real-time)
• Proficiency in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)
• Experience with Angular or React is a plus
• Proven project management and Agile development skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
