We are looking for a Data & Project Analyst to play a key role in the operational delivery and ongoing development of Maxwell Stanley's healthcare analytics solution and services. This is a hands-on role combining data analysis, client delivery and project coordination.

You will manage data preparation and processing, analyse outputs, prepare client deliverables and help ensure projects and managed services are delivered accurately and on time. You will also help improve the solution and its underlying processes, while providing project management support to our work with NHS Wales, including customer service desk queries, Privacy Solution activity and wider delivery support.

Position

What you'll be doing

• Manage the end-to-end receipt, preparation, cleansing and quality checking of large client data files.

• Use Python-based scripts to support data validation and processing activities.

• Upload and manage data within the analytics solution, export outputs and prepare them for client review.

• Carry out advanced Excel analysis, including lookups, data matching, validation, reconciliation and trend identification.

• Analyse audit findings and produce clear trend and insight reports, including professional PowerPoint presentations summarising outcomes, key findings and recommendations.

• Ensure client deliverables meet agreed quality standards and timescales.

• Review existing operational processes and workflows and identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve them.

• Support the review and enhancement of Python scripts used in solution delivery, or recommend alternative approaches where appropriate.

• Analyse audit outputs and customer data to identify recurring trends, risks and opportunities, and contribute to new audit rules and solution enhancements.

• Support the successful delivery of client projects and managed services, monitoring milestones, deliverables and timelines and escalating issues where appropriate.

• Support customer enquiries received through the Maxwell Stanley helpdesk and assist in monitoring NHS Wales Privacy Solution activity and audit logging processes.

• Build effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders.

• Provide analytical and project support across the wider Lanas Group where required, contributing to other priority initiatives as the business evolves.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Analyst or similar role.

• Experience manipulating, validating and analysing large datasets.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, PivotTables, formulas, data validation and data matching.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with excellent attention to detail.

• Experience producing management reports, client deliverables and professional presentations.

• Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience managing competing priorities and taking ownership of delivery.

• Clear written and verbal communication and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It would be an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working in healthcare, the NHS or another public-sector environment.

• Experience of healthcare information, audit, governance or privacy processes.

• Python programming or scripting knowledge.

• SQL and/or Power BI experience.

• Previous experience working with healthcare analytics.
