Mediaocean is looking for a strong performer and self-motivated individual with a proven record of accomplishment of increasing Sales revenue.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem with a special focus on selling to SSP’s, a proven track record of overachieving quota, and experience working in a fast-paced company.
As Director of Sales, you will play a significant role in helping the Verification unit grow. Protected Media, Mediaocean’s Verification unit is a global innovator in Ad Verification with unique expertise in fraud prevention and detection. The Verification unit uses cyber-security methodologies and the most advanced technology stack to protect its customers from sophisticated ad fraud and current and emerging threats.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of this business-critical function and take part in building a scalable practice that can drive business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Support new business and product lines as we expand into new market verticals, such as CTV/OTT Verification and other verification services; establish relations with SSP’s.
  • Lead the sales process from business development, introduction demos, pricing, objection handling through to closing.
  • Building a go-to-market strategy and regional Sales plans.
  • Evaluate and improve Sales workflows and processes.
  • Interface with all levels of the target organizations, including c-level executives.
  • Execution of sales activities with internal cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Work closely with integration teams to support platform integrations.

Who You Are

  • You worked before in a dynamic start up and thrived when working autonomously.
  • You enjoy the challenge of driving complex deals from lead-gen to closing.
  • You are passionate about digital advertising and have a deep understanding of the ecosystem.
  • You have technical orientation and terms like VAST, SSAI or RTB doesn’t scare you
  • +5 years of experience selling in the digital advertising space with a technology solutions company or similar.
  • Experience in selling Verification or Measurement solutions- an advantage
  • Successful experience closing complex, enterprise-level, SaaS opportunities focused on large SSP’s.
  • Track record of overachieving quota in past positions- hunter and closer by heart!
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced company.
  • Demonstrated success in building a go-to-market strategy and regional sales plan for a rapidly growing SaaS or ad tech company.
  • Sees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and industry trends accurately; has broad industry knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies.
  • Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities.
  • Strong work ethic with a track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals and delivering consistent, ongoing new business.
  • Excellent verbal and written English, other languages -an advantage.
