Job Description:

The Organizational Readiness Partner leads the execution of cross-functional projects that impact our customers and/or employees, with a focus on operationalizing the Org Readiness playbook, ensuring the playbook is applied consistently across initiatives and driving effective project coordination. This role ensures project teams are aligned, risks are managed proactively, decisions are made, and business outcomes are achieved. This person partners with business stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Go-to-Market Performance, Services and Support to facilitate planning, track execution, and provide timely reporting to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Coordination

  • Partner with the VP, Operations, to apply and refine the Organizational Readiness playbook for projects. Ensure cross-functional partners leverage the model as they drive org readiness preparations and activities for their functional area.

  • Work with project stakeholders to understand objectives, assumptions, and initial work plans for each cross-functional area. Adjust the Organization Readiness requirements as needed to ensure we focus on achieving the business outcomes and our customer quality expectations.

  • Assist in centralizing project KPIs and monthly reporting responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate discovery and planning activities focused on understanding scope, risks, and dependencies, while driving clarity of goals, tasks, milestones, roles, and timelines.

Execution & Change Management

  • A key premise is that the Org Readiness function “orchestrates” the project, and the underlying teams are responsible for the associated tasks (e.g., R&D develops the Tech, Sales manages Empowerment activities, etc.).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate and document project overviews, assumptions, objectives, and milestone-based plans from all contributing teams. Consolidate these into a single project plan, validate it with the team, and maintain updates highlighting dependencies and critical path elements.

  • Facilitate regular project status reviews to track progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with timelines and go-live objectives.

  • Own the management of RAID items (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), ensuring timely resolution or project adjustments and escalating unresolved items to the VP as needed.

  • Ensure reporting and updates are accurate, actionable, and delivered consistently to stakeholders.

  • Upon project completion, perform a project retrospective that includes a formal assessment of results compared to the original project assumptions

  • Help drive a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across teams involved in projects.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
To excel in the role of Organizational Readiness Partner, individuals need a diverse set of skills, including:

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to influence and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a culture of evolution, excellence, and collaboration.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to apply core principles, anticipate potential issues, and rely on informed instincts to proactively address problems before they escalate.

  • Adaptability: Ability to flex approaches depending on project objective, scale, and complexity.

  • Program and Project Management: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing complex projects. Ability to apply standard project management methods and best practices.

  • Collaborative and Value Add Focus: Collaborative mindset with a focus on getting things done while balancing quality.

  • Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Facilitation and Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal. Skilled in leading large meetings, driving accountability, and translating discussions into clear action items.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Organizational Development, Project Management, or Psychology preferred.

  • 5–7+ years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a project or program management role with cross-functional scope.

  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and relationship management skills, with a track record of influencing without direct authority.

  • Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-wide initiatives, preferably within SaaS or technology-driven organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize frameworks or playbooks across diverse teams and drive consistency in execution.

  • Hands-on experience with organizational change initiatives, risk/issue management, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience in private equity-backed SaaS or high-growth environments a plus.
