The Revenue Operations Analyst develops and maintains Salesforce reports and dashboards, extracts and analyzes data from multiple systems, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and visibility into key performance metrics. By translating complex data into clear insights, this role enables leadership to better understand pipeline health, forecast performance, and revenue trends.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve quickly. They possess strong business acumen, hands-on Salesforce experience and excel at turning complex data into actionable insights. Duties & Responsibilities
Extract, analyze, and interpret data from Salesforce and other revenue systems to provide actionable insights that support strategic business decisions.
Develop, maintain, and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key revenue metrics such as pipeline, bookings, forecast, conversion rates, and sales performance.
Monitor pipeline health and sales performance trends, identifying risks and opportunities and providing recommendations to sales leadership.
Support forecasting processes by analyzing pipeline data, historical trends, and sales activity to improve forecast accuracy.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and ensure alignment on key performance metrics.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across Salesforce and related reporting systems by identifying inconsistencies, performing data audits, and recommending process improvements.
Translate complex data and analytics into clear insights and presentations that can be easily understood by business stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers within revenue data to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
Assist with the development and documentation of revenue operations processes, reporting standards, and data definitions.
Support ad hoc reporting and analytical requests from sales leadership and executive stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate and improve reporting capabilities, automation opportunities, and analytics tools to enhance the effectiveness of the revenue organization.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience
Requires 5+ years of related experience
Strong operating experience with a proven ability to support and improve day-to-day business performance
Exposure to Salesforce is a must, including proficiency in extracting and analyzing sales, marketing and financial data
Experience building, customizing, and maintaining reports and dashboards within Salesforce is required
Experience with marketing funnel metrics (MQL, SQL, SAL, etc.) and data analysis.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
Computer/Technical:
Advanced in CRM management to monitor sales performance and ensure data accuracy; Salesforce proficiency required (reports, dashboards, data analysis)
Advanced in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, charts, and data modeling)
Advanced of B2B sales processes and sales cycle management
Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Other Skills:
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work both individually and as a team member
Proven ability to manage large projects with exceptional project management skills
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage detailed and sometimes ambiguous information
Skilled at interacting with employees at all levels within the organization
