Job Description

Senior Salesforce / Certinia Administrator

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day administration of Certinia PS Cloud/CS Cloud in its configured setting within the enterprise Salesforce platform, including configuration, troubleshooting, release readiness, and ongoing optimization.

  • Administer, configure, and maintain Certinia and Salesforce functions such as user setup, roles/profiles/permissions, security settings, custom objects/fields, record types, page layouts, validations, and overall org health.

  • Provide Tier II/advanced support to users; troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with vendors/service providers for escalations and upgrades.

  • Build, test and coordinate deployment of new functionality for PSA and CS that will continuously improve the user experience for internal process needs (e.g., time & expense, utilization/forecasting, project management, pipeline/CRM processes), as prioritized and defined in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Design and implement automation using declarative tools (e.g., Salesforce Flows; Certinia workflow capabilities) to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability.

  • Support rollout of Certinia capabilities across practice areas; contribute knowledge and information in support of training and user adoption.

  • Build and maintain KPI reporting and dashboards; support monthly/quarterly/annual business cycles through analysis, forecasting support, and actionable insights.

  • Assist with integrations between Certinia, Salesforce, NetSuite, and other business systems; evaluate and manage third-party tools/AppExchange applications as needed.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder certifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring Certinia PS Cloud/CS Cloud, including support for complex business processes.

  • Experience with integrations and data flows among Salesforce, Certinia, and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred); familiarity with iPaaS/integration layers strongly desired.

  • Strong understanding of CRM/PSA best practices, data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency with declarative automation and analytics (Flows, reports, dashboards) and experience supporting user enablement/training.

  • Project management and business analysis skills; ability to interpret business requirements into clear technical implementations.

  • Hands-on experience with configuration elements such as custom objects/records, imports, page layouts, workflows/approvals, reports, and dashboards (Salesforce and related platforms).

  • Collaborative communicator with stakeholder management skills; able to work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and to document decisions and plans.
