MRI Software is looking for a Solution Consultant to join a growing team in our Professional Services team. The team is responsible for implementation and follow up projects on MRI Property Central software.

As an MRI Property Central Consultant, you will have a proven track record in client services, implementation and consultancy. The position involves providing services to many of South Africa’s and broader Africa’s top property companies. This will include training, support and project implementation. Based in an office environment which is innovative, fun and caring, and offers great learning and growth opportunities.

You will have the ability to adapt to a variety of situations and individuals, working towards win-win outcomes, identifying key or underlying issues in both complex situations and with data.

Communicating and drafting information and providing sound recommendations or solutions that are client focused.

Working with others and playing an integral part in both your team and the wider business by fostering a collaborative working environment. Contribute to team performance, and capable of finding ways around obstacles with minimum guidance. Actively shares knowledge among peers and demonstrates initiative in professional self-development.

Responsibilities to include

  • Co-plan projects with projects manager.
  • Implementation of the core product range within the scope of work packages through collaboration with internal and external clients
  • Drive project implementations to ensure effective system implementation.
  • Be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and of satisfactory quality.
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to customers across the core product range to encourage best practice
  • New client training and consultancy services on MRI products.
  • Keep client decision-makers informed of progress or lack thereof.
  • Thinks and acts with a sense of urgency and clear understanding of priorities and strategic importance
  • Take part in project close-off process with clients and facilitate transfer to support procedure.
  • Regular meetings with project manager on project progress.
  • Provide training services to existing clients.
  • Provide training on new system features.
  • Provide product application support to existing clients.
  • Assist with analysing complex support queries.
  • Escalate risks, issues and complaints to relevant parties within the business
  • Manage workload to the agreed timeframe, ensuring any potential over runs are escalated to ensure deadlines are achieved
  • Manage customer expectations on all project deliverables
  • Obtain client feedback and priorities client issues and addressing them accordingly
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and provide guidance
  • Testing and feedback to clients.
  • Understanding the product/s, service/s, or technologies you are implementing, including how they work, how they are used, and how they integrate with other systems.

Skills required:

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years Software Implementation experience
  • B. Com (university degree), or BSc (Hons), Property Studies or similar degree
  • MS Office skills – Advanced Excel, MS Power BI
  • Basic SQL Server Knowledge.
  • Positive presence and mindset.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Good commercial and business acumen.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Accountable and responsible on all project deliverables
  • Being organized and time-efficient
  • Collaborative work in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Documenting knowledgebase articles for end users
  • Well versed in English (additional language will be beneficial)
  • Proactive; driven to learn and keep pace with business and technology trends
  • Own transport and be willing to travel (local and abroad). Valid passport required.
