Partner Product - Business Development Manager

About the Role:
As part of MRI APAC's Partner Organisation, MRI is looking for a Partner Product BDM to drive revenue from a portfolio of partner extension products. The portfolio includes MRI’s strategic partners with offerings that complement MRI’s APAC GTM product suite, as well as consulting partnerships that drive demand creation. A critical component of this role will be to drive top line revenue with these developed partners.
Reporting to MRI’s APAC Director of Strategic Partnerships and working closely with the MRI’s Director of Partner Connect in the Asia Pacific region, the successful candidate will be required to work cross functionally across the MRI organisation spanning growth, sales, product management, development, professional services and the global partnering organisation (Partner Connect) to execute the regional partner strategy for APAC’s Strategic Partnerships.
This position requires a high energy individual that can manage multiple touch points, create strong relationships internally and externally across the organisation, and work collaboratively to support the success of our business.
Applicants should have a proven track record in partnership and channel development, business development and sales. The role will require exceptional interpersonal skills, critical thinking, executive presence, team player mentality and strong business acumen. A good understanding of the Real Estate Industry and Enterprise Software is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Working with our significant and strategic partners to optimise the productisation and packaging of our suite of partner extension products;
Working with our sales, sales engineering and sales enablement team to ensure that partner products are optimised for bookings and conversion;
Working with our Growth team to ensure that partner extension product marketing is yielding leads, bookings, and revenue;
Working with our Growth team to identify target customer segments and generating leads for sales team members to convert into bookings and revenue;
Managing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and the achievement of success metrics;
Recruit and monitor customer participation in EAP and Pilot programs, reporting to relevant stakeholders;
Liaising with customers and providing feedback to sales, partners and product; and
Identify expansion opportunities for incremental revenue from expansion opportunities in our Partner Connect program.
Job Requirements:
4 - 5 years of experience in managing complex relationships within Software, Proptech or Real Estate Service Industry
As this is a role that is cross-functional in nature, any candidate with a combination of experience and a strong understanding across any of the following business functions should apply: Partnerships, Business Development, SaaS Sales or Account Management; Sales enablement, Sales Ops, Project Management; or Team Management; specifically within high-tech at both a strategic, tactical and operational level;
Regardless of the combination of experience listed above, a sophisticated level of organisational and time management skills will be critical to success.
A history of execution success, such as quota achievement or the successful achievement of MBAs is a requirement.
Experience managing complex relationships across multiple levels and disciplines.
Ability to manage a complex selling environment with multiple stakeholders and balancing respective objectives/priorities.
Executive presence; proven ability and experience to operate effectively at senior levels.
Demonstrated ability to quickly gain trust and credibility
Ability to deliver effective diplomatic communications as well as handle sensitive information and materials in a confidential manner
Passion to win, entrepreneurial, high energy, responsive, and results-driven self-starter.
Ability to deal well with change and be a team player, builder, and leader.
Excellent presentation skills and confidence
Be proficient in the use of both written and spoken business English
A bachelor’s degree is desirable, but not mandatory
