What You’ll Do: As a Screening Account Executive, you will drive the growth of our residential and pre-employment screening software solutions by proactively generating both new and recurring revenues. You will engage with a wide range of prospects, build strong customer relationships, and work alongside other sales professionals to close deals and drive business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Close Deals: Lead high-volume telephone outreach to uncover opportunities within competitive markets and execute software agreements.
- Client Relationship Management: Work closely with existing clients to identify critical pain points and growth opportunities, expanding licensing to offer additional MRI screening solutions.
- Engage and Educate: Conduct engaging, high-impact software demonstrations to both prospects and clients. Represent MRI Software at industry conferences and trade shows.
- Collaborative Selling: Work closely with other sales team members to share insights and strategies that enhance business development efforts.
- Complete Sales Process: Manage the entire sales cycle – from lead generation to negotiations and closing – within your designated territory. Develop targeted sales strategies to reach key decision-makers and position MRI Software as the preferred choice.
Responsibilities in Detail:
- Consistently exceed your assigned annual sales quota.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospects.
- Proactively prospect for new business and generate leads.
- Create and implement customized sales plans to target and win new clients.
- Develop both short- and long-term strategies to build a pipeline and close deals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft integrated sales strategies and address shared opportunities.
- Identify client pain points and deliver tailored solutions that drive growth.
- Manage the negotiation process and navigate corporate contracting to close sales.
- Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Submit detailed sales reports outlining progress, opportunities, and forecasts for your region.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of direct sales experience in software solutions or professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred focus in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Technology, or Marketing).
- Industry experience in screening software or related sectors such as Background Screening, Real Estate, Finance, or Technology is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of closing new business and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Strong presentation and software demonstration skills.
- Resilience and the ability to push past rejection to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Proficiency in web technologies, CRM systems, and larger business applications.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States.
