The Role:
The Solutions Consultant is a key member of the MRI Public Housing Professional Services Team, responsible for implementing and supporting MRI PHA Pro software for public housing authorities across the U.S.

This role works alongside project managers and consulting colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of public housing implementations. The consultant will oversee the assigned client project, delivering high-quality services on time and within budget. Projects may range from quick configurations to full-scale multi-phase implementations involving complex data conversions, training, testing, and client consultation.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can confidently interact with clients in both remote and on-site settings. Travel up to approximately 25% is required.

You will be instrumental in empowering public housing agencies to better serve their communities through technology.

You Will:
As a Solution Consultant, you will be involved in all phases of the implementation process and will lead or participate in the following activities:

• Analyze client business requirements and objectives for MRI PHA Pro
• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to document configuration needs, functional specifications, and training plans.
• Configure the system based on approved requirements
• Assist with data mapping, data conversion, and import validation
• Create and execute test plans
• Develop user documentation and conduct client training (remote and on-site)
• Provide hands-on guidance during system go-lives and post-live support
• Communicate and/or resolve project issues that may impact scope, timeline, or quality
• Submit accurate project status updates, weekly timesheets, and expense reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement and internal team knowledge sharing
• Perform other duties as required

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in consulting, training, software implementation, software support, or public housing
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, both virtual and in-person
• Demonstrate organization and planning capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while being a supportive team member
• Strong business acumen, initiative, and a drive to solve client problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 25% (some overnight travel may be required)

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with public housing authorities or HUD-related programs
• Familiarity with MRI PHA Pro or other housing management platforms
• Experience supporting, training, or configuring housing management software or other enterprise software systems
• Knowledge of SQL or data mapping is a plus
• Understanding of public housing regulatory compliance and workflows (e.g., admissions, rent calc, inspections)
