Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our FM & Energy Owner Operator team. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, managing a high-performing team of Account Managers, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in enterprise software sales, inspirational leadership, and a passion for customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Professionally represent the company and promote the core and extended solution set relevant to the FM & Energy Owner Operator client base.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of 6 Account Managers to exceed sales and client satisfaction objectives.
Recruit, coach, and mentor team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Achieve and exceed all quarterly and annual fiscal targets and objectives.
Produce timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports as required.
Develop a deep understanding of MRI’s solutions and the FM & Energy markets.
Ensure the team is well-trained on all products and solutions through regular training sessions.
Support the team in upselling and cross-selling strategic products across their account base.
Engage with clients and internal teams to identify and maximise strategic growth opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-Level decision-makers, influencers, and key stakeholders.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity within the team.
Determine ongoing client requirements and collaborate with product management and development to align solutions with evolving needs.
Assist in winning new “white space & green space” business by leveraging market intelligence, testimonials, and case studies.
Represent the company at relevant trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Development, GPS, Support, and Finance to deliver client value.
Ensure Salesforce is updated daily to reflect all sales and account activity.
Experience & Competencies Required
Inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Minimum 3 years of sales leadership or senior sales experience in Enterprise Software Solutions.
Experience of coaching a sales team in the delivery of effective account planning.
Stakeholder management, skilled in managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple departments and levels of seniority.
Data-Driven decision-making, ability to leverage data and analytics to inform sales strategies, forecast performance and identify growth opportunities.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a quarterly, target-driven environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly self-motivated, confident, and energetic.
Ability to manage complex sales projects with long lead times.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
