Role Overview

Join MRI Software as a Professional Services Manager and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our MRI Community delivery. At the core of this role is to do what it takes to ensure client satisfaction. This is primarily a Management and client-facing role within the Professional Services team, responsible for driving forward the implementation of business-critical project delivery for clients currently using MRI software. The position involves working collaboratively with Customers, Consultants, Project Managers, Marketing, and Sales Account Managers to help clients make the most of their investment. There is a real customer focus on this role and client satisfaction is a key objective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual GPS service utilisation and revenue targets (and minimise variance proactively)

  • Client centricity as a central pillar of operating – meeting with customers as necessary

  • Ensure schedule and forecast data is accurate and updated regularly aligning capacity with backlog

  • Drive forecast within MRI Community service delivery

  • Drive efficient turnaround of Statements of Work, supporting Customer requests and supporting demand generation for Client delivery, responsible for success of quotation and Statement of Work progress to ensure efficient turnaround

  • Monitor team KPI’s and metrics across Professional Services

  • Drive continuous improvements throughout the teams with a focus on a Customer Centric approach, cost, quality, speed of development and innovation.

  • Promote best practices across the team as a whole

  • Ensure appropriate R&D is carried out into new services

  • Handle escalations by customers, responsible for customer focused events with Professional Service participation

  • Take part in user groups, forums, webinars as required to delight our customers, build up relationships and rapport with them

  • Looking for opportunities to expand/create services and offers to help grow the business

  • Conduct timely follow-ups and support marketing campaigns with PS Account Manager

  • Collaborate with the GPS MRI Community Leadership Team

  • Contribute to internal GPS and company-wide projects, focus on Client retention

  • Provide support to the wider business in the completion of tender and sales opportunity requirements

  • Establish and gain trust from customers, stakeholders and peers alike

  • Minimise customer attrition by being an advocate of client success as required

  • Provide updates proactively and as required

  • Recruitment, upskilling and cross-training of the team

  • Any other tasks as required set by leadership

Skills & Experience

  • Preferred background in Professional Services and management, or customer focused role

  • 5+ years’ experience in software, revenues & benefits, education, local authority, or real estate advantageous.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills

  • Great with customers and building relationships, putting customers at the forefront

  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability

  • Commercially aware and industry-savvy

  • Resilient and able to set a good leadership example to the team

  • Confident, ambitious self-starter with a growth mindset
