Job Overview:
The Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the EMEA Sales Team to provide tailored technical expertise in delivering demo solutions for both existing clients and prospective customers. This position is focused on delivering comprehensive sales support, facilitating solution demonstrations, and contributing to strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment and demonstrates exceptional teamwork skills. This role is essential in driving revenue growth for MRI Software's solutions across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for the MRI Software EMEA sales team, offering expert guidance and support.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance to ensure effective solution demonstrations and seamless upgrades via upgrades of the solution eco-system in line with release cadence and ensuring sign off on all working capabilities before release to the sales team.
- Develop, validate, and position MRI Software capabilities, including advanced product concepts and third-party integrations.
- Conduct presentations on MRI Software's technical product capabilities, infrastructure, and roadmap, showcasing deep expertise in technical knowledge of the solution eco-system.
- Perform internal proof of concept demonstrations to assess viability, address technical concerns, and align solutions with client needs.
- Build stakeholder confidence by effectively communicating MRI offerings and solution architecture.
- Address technical objections throughout the sales cycle, collaborating closely with the sales team.
- Creation of technical documentation and diagrams to aid with the understanding of complex integrations and to ensure that documentation specific to solutions is well maintained.
- Contribute to achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets as set by management.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in computer solutions or database/tool expertise.
- 4-7 years of experience with software vendors, demonstrating proficiency in MRI solutions or similar offerings.
- Strong understanding of systems, solution design, and integration methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze needs, justify business decisions, and execute projects.
- Proven problem-solving abilities for enhancing business processes and resolving complex technical issues.
- Familiarity with SQL, Progress, and SyBase is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to address technical and business challenges
