The Operations Analyst serves as a senior analytical partner responsible for identifying customer churn risk, developing predictive insights, and delivering highvisibility reporting that informs strategic decisionmaking. This role blends advanced data analysis, operational performance monitoring, and executiveready storytelling to drive retention, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer data to provide ongoing reporting related to churn trends, at-risk accounts, product utilization, retention performance, and customer health indicators.

  • Create and maintain executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and operational reports that provide visibility into key business metrics and risk patterns.

  • Prepare and present data-driven insights and recommendations to ELT and senior leadership teams in a clear, concise, and visually effective manner.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Client Success, Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations teams to gather reporting requirements and align on business priorities.

  • Monitor trends and patterns within customer engagement, adoption, renewals, support activity, and operational performance to highlight areas of concern or opportunity.

  • Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights that support strategic planning and operational decision-making.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting across multiple systems and data sources.

  • Support forecasting and operational planning activities through data analysis and trend reporting.

  • Build and maintain reporting documentation, data definitions, and process standards.

  • Assist leadership teams in evaluating business performance through KPI tracking and operational analytics.

  • Identify reporting efficiencies and opportunities to streamline data visualization and executive communication processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in operations analysis, business analytics, customer analytics, or related analytical roles.

  • Strong experience with churn reporting, customer risk analysis, retention metrics, and operational performance reporting.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.

  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively to executive audiences.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive summaries and recommendations.

  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.

  • Experience supporting SaaS, technology, or client success organizations preferred.

  • Familiarity with CRM and customer success platforms such as Salesforce, Gainsight, Totango, or similar tools is a plus.
