Position Summary

MRI-Software is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Level 3 with 5–6 years of professional experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in modern web technologies and backend development, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, SOLID principles, and software design patterns.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Microsoft .Net, Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

• Design and develop applications using RESTful APIs, C#, MVC, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and Azure services.

• Work with relational databases such as SQL-Server and Oracle for data storage and retrieval.

• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, unit testing/coded testing, and deployment.

• Review code to ensure quality, performance, security, and maintainability.

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and provide customer incident or escalation support.

• Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and QA teams.

• Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing maintenance.

• Follow coding standards, security practices, and documentation guidelines.

• Comply with established quality and InfoSec policies and guidelines.

Required Skills:

• 5 to 6 years of professional experience in software development.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Hands-on experience with angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, RESTful APIs, C#, MVC, ADO. Net, Entity Framework.

• Strong understanding of AI prompting, Copilot/Cursor and AI productivity tools

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

• Good knowledge of database concepts and experience with SQL-Server and/or Oracle.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Added advantage: Knowledge of Azure concepts such as CI/CD pipelines, Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
