System Administrator (Early Career)

This in an ON-SITE position in Overland Park, KS
Responsibilities
Administer patch management for servers and end point devices, configure and administer daily backups
Perform performance reporting to support capacity and Advanced Active Directory and email management
Understanding of Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Services, licensing, mobile device management, and virtualization and storage technologies
Support network and storage environments including SAN, clustering, load balancing, multi-site VPNs, network IDS, firewalls, and application delivery/virtualization products such as Citrix
Update, Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot multi-site Linux/UNIX and Windows based Netsmart application environments for both turn-key and cloud clients
Work directly with clients to resolve issues, schedule updates, and provide guidance on system level best practices
Support enterprise database systems; MS-SQL, Intersystems’ Caché, and Oracle included
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Established system administration experience in medium to large scale environments
ITIL Framework knowledge is a plus
Experience working with VMware or other enterprise virtualization technologies in a live, production environment
Experience working with the Windows Server Platform, enterprise management experience a plus
Experience working with SQL Server enterprise database systems, performing installation setup, basic configuration and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, best practices, and procedures
Demonstrates strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Willing to relocate to Overland Park, KS
