Early Career Security Engineer - ON SITE

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and partners with members of IT Security and Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, Network Engineering, Support Operations and functional areas across IT and the business to raise and support the security posture of Nestmart

  • Operate complex enterprise firewall clusters, VPN devices, IDS/IPS, SIEM and various vulnerability assessment tools and solutions

  • Design, test and deploy IT security systems and solutions

  • Develop security engineering requirements, standards and guidelines, processes, and procedures

  • Review applicable security support models and identify opportunities for continued process improvement

  • Monitor and review requests for change to assure they do not introduce any security and/or compliance risks to the enterprise and meet security requirements, guidelines and compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • At least 1 years information security work experience/exposure in a regulated environment

  • Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity, technology, solution design, and self-study

  • Experience supporting a corporate network with full understanding of network operations and design, including the OSI model

  • Programming and/ or scripting experience

  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, SSAE Option 18, NIST standards)

Preferred

  • Security industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC, CCSE or similar

  • Experience supporting cloud provided infrastructure environments (SAAS,IAAS,PAAS) such as AWS services and implementations (i.e. VPCs, SES, RC2, R3, Route 53, Cloud Formation, etc.) or Azure equivalents

  • Experience in Healthcare IT
