Responsible for establishing standards and best practices for Public Cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Establish internal standards for technical leadership by researching, informing, and demonstrating trends in DevOps technologies, tools, trends, and innovations

  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify the right products and solutions for their platforms that align with our established reference architecture

  • Design, architect and develop highly scalable, resilient, self-healing, cloud native CI/CD automation models

  • Design, architect and develop CI/CD automation model in serverless and microservices architecture

  • Develop large data technologies, algorithms, and applications for clients.

  • Mentor, lead and guide other team members on the technical direction around automation, tools and best practices

  • Lead, implement and develop TDD, SDD driven CI/CD automation models

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Public Cloud architecture and operations experience with an emphasis in Azure

  • At least 7 years of experience in cloud automation

  • Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM software development team

    Intermediate to Advanced level experience developing complex automation using one or more of the following (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash)

  • Experience with both Windows and Linux based operating systems

  • Experience deploying and configuring VMs, and Container images

  • Experience designing and developing processes that leverage both SOAP and REST API services

  • Strong knowledge of hierarchical data formats (JSON, XML, YAML, etc.)

  • Advanced level experience using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, AWS Cloudformation for Application Deployment and Configuration Management

  • Intermediate level experience with CI/CD driving development and Jenkins

  • Experience with Git, RDBMS, NoSQL, Linux
