Client Alignment Representative- Public Sector

At Netsmart, the Public Sector team is dedicated to serving clients within government funded organizations, including city, county, and state entities. This team focuses on strategic alignment with complex clients, leveraging their extensive experience and collaborative spirit to drive impactful results. By working with clients and partnering closely with Client Account Executives (CAEs), the Public Sector team ensures that Netsmart's unique solutions address the specific needs and priorities of clients within the Public Sector market.

The team's responsibilities are diverse, encompassing the use of various Netsmart tools including Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Highspot to manage client interactions, track invoices, and create tailored marketing and client-facing documentation. The Public Sector team excels in internal and external communication, coordinating across multiple resources within the organization to deliver seamless services and support. They are adept at managing sales opportunities, handling support cases, and aligning Netsmart's offerings with the procurement processes and strategic goals of public sector clients.

Team members must have strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to participate in highly technical conversations and articulate complex solutions. They are also skilled in discussing pricing and linking value to overcome objections. Overall, the Public Sector team at Netsmart plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and support of solutions that make a significant impact on their clients and the communities they serve.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for attainment of annual sales quota for software licenses, maintenance, hosting, solutions and services
  • Cultivate client executive relationships and business counterparts to ensure growth of the client relationships and software transformational opportunities
  • Connect with clients to establish alignment plan parameters, build and nurture the relationship and assist in identifying further opportunities
  • Effectively communicate Netsmart's overall guiding principles and strategic imperatives, solution offerings, technology, and consulting services and how they relate to provide total client value and foster healthy client relationships
  • Support collaboration across sales, professional services, hosting and operations teams to bring the right resources to the client alignment effort.

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills, including presentations in a sales capacity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Overland Park, KS

Preferred

  • Sales or account management experience
  • Health care and/or technology services and solutions with emphasis on health and human services or post-acute marketplace experience
