We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Integration Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendors and internal product and development teams to ensure seamless API/HL7 integrations that drive efficiency and improve client experiences. You'll interact with EHR partners/Vendors, Product Owners, and Engineering while overseeing the full lifecycle of API implementations, from scoping and planning to execution, while troubleshooting challenges, and optimizing data flows. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Electronic Health Record (EHR), other software vendors and client product and development teams to ensure seamless integration.

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of API implementations, including scoping, project planning, and execution.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal product, development, and client success teams to support API-related projects and timelines.

  • Act as a liaison to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges, ensuring a smooth data exchange experience.

  • Create and maintain thorough, well-organized documentation for API integrations, including technical specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting steps.

  • Monitor and report on API performance, usage, and data flow, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards and trends related to healthcare APIs, data sharing, and interoperability (e.g., HL7, FHIR).

  • Support ongoing conversations with clients and vendors, addressing concerns, feature requests, and opportunities for enhanced collaboration.

  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders on API capabilities and best practice


Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 2 years of experience with EHR implementations

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting API/HL7 integrations

  • Experience and knowledgeable with industry standards and trends related to healthcare APIs, data sharing, and interoperability (e.g., HL7, FHIR).

  • Effective and efficient communication skills and be able to organize, prioritize and schedule a high workload

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
