About the Role
Join our HR Operations team as a Compensation Analyst, working alongside our Senior Compensation Data Analyst and Senior Data Analyst to support critical compensation practices. This 12-month intensive learning role builds foundational expertise in compensation management, data analytics, and HR operations through hands-on work with day-to-day compensation operations, executive bonus administration, and merit cycle support.
What You'll Do
Compensation Management & Analysis
Support compensation benchmarking by gathering market data and preparing preliminary analysis
Process compensation proposals for internal movements, external hires, and retention packages
Support analysis of compensation trends across workforce segments, identifying patterns and outliers
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and business leaders on compensation data
Annual Merit Cycle Support
Ensure data integrity throughout the merit cycle by auditing employee data and validating calculations
Assist with financial modeling to balance budget constraints with business objectives
Prepare planned and ad hoc reports for HR Business Partners and business leaders
Support manager communication and training materials
Executive Bonus Program Administration
Process monthly financial accruals for the executive bonus program
Maintain participant data and alignment with financial metrics
Calculate attainment levels and payouts based on plan designs
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of quarterly and annual bonus cycles
Data & Systems Management
Use Excel, PowerBI, and Spiff (Salesforce incentive compensation platform) for data management and reporting
Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly compensation reporting
Identify data quality issues and implement corrections
Contribute ideas for data improvements and system enhancements
Process Support & Collaboration
Participate in process improvement initiatives
Communicate with cross-functional teams on compensation initiatives
Support operational aspects of compensation projects
Assist in resolving compensation-related operational issues

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data visualization)
Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization abilities
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Collaborative mindset with ability to communicate to various audiences
Emotional intelligence and adaptability
Initiative and learning mindset
Preferred
Experience with data collection, reporting, and analytics
Familiarity with PowerBI or business intelligence tools
Exposure to compensation practices, HRIS systems, or Salesforce platforms
Understanding of data interpretation and trend analysis
