Financial Analyst- Contracts
Netsmart Technologies
Be a financial steward at the heart of healthcare innovation
At Netsmart, we are not just building software. We are transforming care delivery. With over 50 years of experience in behavioral health, human services, and post-acute care, we partner with organizations across the care continuum to solve complex challenges and improve outcomes. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Contract Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to make a measurable impact every day.
What You’ll Do
This is not your typical analyst role. You will be at the intersection of finance, legal, sales, and client success, helping resolve contract issues, optimize revenue, and improve client health. You will work independently and collaboratively to manage contract change requests, analyze financial impact, and guide stakeholders toward smart, client-centered solutions.
Your day-to-day will include:
Reviewing and analyzing contract change requests submitted via Salesforce from across the company
Leading client calls to discuss contract updates, cancellations, and financial implications, often delivering tough but necessary messages with clarity and professionalism
Drafting legal documents and settlement agreements, including executive-level communications
Collaborating with Sales to support new bookings and help close deals
Prioritizing a high volume of requests while balancing urgent needs, opportunities, and long-term projects
Reconciling products and services purchased by clients to ensure accurate financial reporting
Partnering with teams across Netsmart including Sales, Support, Plexus Cloud, Marketing, and Project Management to drive resolution and maintain financial integrity
What You Bring
We can teach contracts, but we need someone who already understands finance. You will succeed here if you are analytical, assertive, and thrive under pressure.
Must-have skills:
Strong foundation in accounting or finance (debits, credits, reconciliation, financial analysis)
Exceptional communication skills that are articulate, clear, and able to simplify complex topics
Ability to pivot quickly, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple moving pieces
Confidence in leading client conversations and influencing internal stakeholders
A collaborative mindset and a sense of fun, someone who mentors others and contributes to a positive team culture
Why This Role Is Special
You will gain exposure to nearly every part of Netsmart including Sales, Legal, Support, Marketing, FP&A, and Revenue
You will build a deep understanding of our products, contracts, and business strategy
You will be a go-to resource and trusted advisor with opportunities to grow into leadership or specialized financial roles
You will be part of a tight-knit team that supports each other, mentors new associates, and celebrates wins together
