What You Will Do:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution Architect is an expert resource, working closely with our sales team to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of the Netwrix IAM portfolio. Your deep level industry knowledge and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits will be key to driving sales success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical expert on our IAM solutions including its features, benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored software solutions that address customer needs.
  • Translate technical features into business value, demonstrating how our solutions can improve operational efficiency, reduce risks, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver high quality technical RFP responses, proposals, and architectural designs that align with customer needs.
  • Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements with prospective clients
  • Work closely with product management and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product roadmap discussions.
  • Provide industry thought leadership on IAM through, written opinions, webinars and trade shows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the decision-making process by focusing on business outcomes rather than just technical specifications.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on technical aspects of the product and solution offerings.
  • Ensure successful handover of solution designs to the implementation team, supporting a smooth transition from sales to delivery.

You are a strong fit for this role if you have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or related role within the software or IT industry, with a focus on Identity and Access Management
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) and experience in designing solutions that adhere to these standards.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with cloud security best practices.
  • Experience with network security, identity and access management (IAM), and encryption technologies.
  • Proven ability to connect technology with business needs, demonstrating ROI and strategic value to customers.
  • Experience in developing business cases and presenting them to senior leadership to justify the adoption of new solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design creative, customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience with API integration, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
