We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to support both the implementation of our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and our compensation rationalization project. This role will involve assisting with data migration, system testing, and validation for HRIS, as well as providing support for analyzing and optimizing compensation structures. The ideal candidate will have foundational skills in data analysis, an interest in HR technology, and a keen understanding of compensation data. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to both HRIS implementation and compensation management.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS Implementation Support:

  • Data Preparation & Migration:
    • Assist in collecting and organizing HR data for migration into the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
    • Support data cleansing efforts by identifying and correcting discrepancies in employee records, payroll data, and benefits information.
    • Help map legacy system data to the new HRIS, ensuring seamless transfer and integration.
  • System Testing & Validation:
    • Participate in testing and system integration testing to ensure that HRIS functionalities are working as intended.
    • Validate that HR data is correctly migrated and accessible in the new HRIS, including employee records, compensation, benefits, and performance information.
    • Report any issues or errors found during testing and assist in troubleshooting and resolving them.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis:
    • Assist in generating and analyzing HRIS reports to track progress, data accuracy, and system performance during implementation.
    • Collaborate with HRIS team to create reports for management and other stakeholders.

Compensation Rationalization Support:

  • Data Collection & Analysis:
    • Assist with gathering and analyzing compensation data, including salary, benefits, and bonus structures across the organization.
    • Support the evaluation of internal pay equity and external competitiveness to assist in the compensation rationalization process.
    • Help identify discrepancies or outliers in compensation data that may need to be addressed for fairness or compliance.
  • Compensation Benchmarking:
    • Assist in the analysis of market compensation data to ensure that the organization’s pay structure aligns with industry standards.
    • Support compensation analysis by reviewing internal pay trends, market surveys, and compensation benchmarking tools.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with HRIS implementation teams, and HR professionals, specialists to ensure smooth data migration and alignment with compensation rationalization goals.
    • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including HR, IT, and finance teams, to ensure data integrity and alignment with HR strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Some experience in data analysis, internships, or coursework related to HRIS systems or compensation management.
    • Basic understanding of HR processes and data (HRIS, payroll, compensation structures, etc.) is a plus but not required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets.
    • Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
