Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Supplier Development role requires an up-and-coming professional who can drive and support organizational growth by working with our external supplier partners and across multiple teams within OMNIA Partners. The scope will cover multiple suppliers and categories. Working with other core capabilities across OMNIA Partners, the Associate Director will lead efforts to grow GTV and revenue across the assigned suppliers and will take the lead in building aligned strategies which will ensure continued sales growth.
Responsibilities include:
The Associate Director will be someone who can take the lead to achieve business goals and maximize current and new relationships with key supplier partners. This role will also encompass the following:
- Work across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Training, and Operations to ensure a strong and winning strategy is in place to grow relationships for our supplier partners
- Through influence and education, drive supplier partners to engage and penetrate OMNIA Partners membership to create value for our members, while improving the financial returns for supplier partners
- Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with partner executives, helping them execute to drive sales volume for them and revenue for OMNIA Partners
- Maintaining a strategic relationship with key supplier constituents to drive supplier training, sales enablement, and joint marketing activities
- Flexible/Adaptable – willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects and ability to prioritize
- Independent worker – high level of self-motivation and at ease working independently when necessary
- Working under pressure – works well under pressure and accomplishing short and long-term deadlines
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years’ experience in sales, supplier management, or similar role
- Strong relationship building skills
- Multitasking skills to handle multiple projects
- Interest in thriving in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Salesforce experience a plus
This role is based in Franklin, TN with 10% travel (5-6 times a year).
