Director, Partner Development – IT / Telecom
(Expert in OEM, VAR, Distributor & eMarketplace Channels)
Location: Franklin, TN
Primary Responsibilities: The PD Director will drive sales and contract growth by collaborating with supplier partners and internal teams at OMNIA Partners. The Director will lead strategies to increase sales and contract usage in the IT / Telecom categories, cultivate strategic supplier relationships, and align strategies for sustained sales growth within the participating public agencies as well as Enterprise and SMB membership.
Education/Knowledge/Skills: The ideal candidate will excel in achieving business goals, optimizing supplier relationships, and leveraging data-driven, technology-minded strategic planning. Key responsibilities include:
· Deep knowledge and experience managing OEM partnerships, VAR ecosystems, broadline IT distributors, and online marketplaces.
· Strong interdepartmental communication across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations to drive winning strategies
· Develop and implement contract utilization strategies, adjusting tactics based on performance metrics
· Build and maintain executive-level supplier relationships to drive member value and sales
· Collaborate with leadership to enhance supplier training, sales enablement, and joint marketing strategies
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years’ experience in public sector sales &/or enterprise account business development experience; channel partnerships, & national sales
· Data-driven and technology-minded approach to strategic planning
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence peers and executives
· Strong relationship-building
· Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
· Thrives in a collaborative, competitive, fast paced environment
· Based in our HQ in Franklin, TN (Metro Nashville)
· Ability to travel 40%
