About this Opportunity:

As a Product & Prices Specialist I, you will be responsible for the creation and accuracy of the products and prices contained in the databases of Orion. This position takes requests from various sources and adds or updates the products. The Product and Price Specialist I will also be responsible for importing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of daily prices in the Price Table. In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service to clients of Orion and will work closely with other service team members to ensure services are accurate and based on the contracted terms. We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Omaha, NE, Berwyn, PA, Sacramento, CA, Hebron, KY, Chandler, AZ, Provo, UT, or Idaho Falls, ID.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Create new products in Orion databases, refine existing procedures and execute product additions

  • Update existing products with new information

  • Collaborate with IT to develop more efficient ways to create new products and import prices in database

  • Utilize System Management Software (Salesforce) to work with IT to ensure product and price data collection is as technologically accurate and efficient as possible

  • Work with operations teams to ensure proper use of products, develop procedures and work with training personnel to ensure team members accurately create assets for clients

  • Import daily prices from all available and reliable sources such as custodians, Index Data and DST Systems

  • Identify new sources for prices and index data

  • Ensure all available prices are applied for month-end period

  • Import corporate actions and dividend data into databases

  • Support Reconciliation Advocates and Service Teams to ensure manual prices are entered in a timely and accurate manner

  • Import daily prices from all available and reliable sources such as custodians, Index Data and DST Systems

  • Identify new sources for prices and index data

  • Ensure all available prices are applied for month-end period

  • Import corporate actions and dividend data into databases

  • Support Reconciliation Advocates and Service Teams to ensure manual prices are entered in a timely and accurate manner

  • Respond to all client questions and issues received by phone, email, or fax in a complete and quick manner and acts as a single point of contact for clients for market data-related requests

  • Analyze client requests and deduce and explore possible solutions or forward request on to appropriate department, following-through until resolved

  • Train advisors on Orion system technology capabilities available by completing one-on-one sessions

  • Counsel advisors regarding best practices, policies and procedures, as well as provide advice on how to handle situations encountered and processes advisor requests

  • Audit product lists to identify duplicate or unused products and to ensure accuracy of data within product

  • Run audits and verify daily prices to ensure completeness and accuracy of price tables

  • Run audits of dividend and corporate action data to ensure accuracy

  • Perform data reconciliation responsibilities for assigned Orion Databases

  • Work with Orion data reconciliation teams during quarter-end to answer questions about security setup, price accuracy and availability

We're looking for talent who:

  • Has knowledge of financial terminology

  • Has ability to process high volume of transactions in an accurate and timely manner

  • Possess ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning hours and Saturdays

  • Has minimum of a High School Diploma and prefer a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

  • Obtain Orion Industry Certification

  • Has minimum of 6 months of financial services industry or experience with Orion or affiliated companies

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$17.37 - $24.46

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
