Sales Development Representative

About this Opportunity:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for qualifying leads into the most appropriate sales funnel or ensuring the lead is placed into the most appropriate marketing funnel for ongoing nurturing. The SDR is also responsible for working trial opportunities by 1) ensuring the user converts to a paying customer, and 2) ensuring trial opportunities are identified for additional Orion Technology or Wealth Management products. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to one of our following offices: Omaha, NE, Berwyn, PA, Sacramento, CA, Hebron, KY, Chandler, AZ, Provo, UT, or Idaho Falls, ID.
In this role, you'll get to:
Work MQLs in a timely manner to qualify into sales funnel or return into marketing funnel
Work technology trials to convert them to paying customers, while offering a consultative approach to qualifying them into a sales funnel or into a new marketing funnel
Maintain a high competency of the solutions offered by Orion across Technology and Wealth Management including Portfolio Accounting, Compliance, CRM, Risk, Custom Indexing, TAMP, Wealth Advisory, RIA Services/OCIO
Become proficient in managing a lead pipeline by supporting activities that include inbound and outbound calls and emails
Consistently achieve KPIs and goals assigned, including inbound/outbound calls, scheduling, and lead conversion
Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to help create more lead flow
We're looking for talent who:
Has ability to adapt quickly to changes in marketing content
Has ability to use digital solutions to engage with contacts to execute job
Possess ability to accept rejection while remaining and effective communicator
Has proficient skills with Salesforce, Pardot, Highspot, Zoom, SalesOS, Discovery Data, and other sales enablement solutions
Possess proficiency in navigating Orion’s tech stack including Portfolio Accounting, Compliance, CRM, and Risk
Has minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Obtain Orion Industry Certification
Has minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service, sales or marketing
Has experience working with the Financial Services industry is preferred
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
