About this Opportunity:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of proactive reporting and analytics capabilities. This job reviews, analyzes and communicates data analysis results and makes recommendations to management to drive business intelligence solutions. For External Candidates:

Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY

For Internal Candidates:

All internal employees, regardless of their current work arrangement (remote or in-office), are encouraged to apply

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Design and create user-friendly standard and ad hoc static/dynamic data reports and reporting tools to assist management in decision making

  • Understand overall business needs and requirements to ensure needs are integrated into the report

  • Use gathered business intelligence to make recommendations in strategic planning at management level

  • Promote, research and manage all internal and external data sources

  • Ensure internal data sources are optimized and research and recommend supplemental data sources from both external and affiliated companies

  • Perform complex business intelligence reporting by identifying, extracting and analyzing business data (e.g. sales revenue by products/department) from multiple internal and external sources and provide results and recommendations to management

  • Develop and prepare regular activity and investment performance reporting by department (e.g. # of calls/account, new accounts processed, trades executed, fund performance gains/losses, etc.

  • Ensure a high degree of data quality by applying industry standards and best practice to design, development and testing

We’re looking for talent who:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, data science, or mathematics preferred

  • Has a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in data visualization analysis or business intelligence development required with a bachelor's degree, or a minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience required without a bachelor's degree

  • Possess prior experience working within the financial services industry

  • Obtain Orion Industry Certification

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$53,633.00 - $78,768.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
