About this Opportunity
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing investment strategies utilizing exchange traded funds, mutual funds and/or other investment securities for Orion. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
For Internal and External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Berwyn, PA.
In this role, you'll get to:
Investigate status of financial markets and stay on top of current events to determining underlying economic conditions that affect those securities
Review financial and investment information, briefs, periodicals and national/global topic research articles
Manage multi-asset class portfolios including both asset allocation and security selection decisions
Develop strategies to take advantage of investment opportunities within context of identified secular trends
Make decisions about investment mix and policy, matching investments to objectives, asset allocation for individuals and institutions, and balancing risk against performance; utilize recommendations provided by analysts based on research conducted on various securities and investments
Communicate with representatives and clients regarding managed strategies and investment decisions, prepare client portfolio reviews and conduct client meetings representing Orion
Analyze, implement, and evaluate investment managers and research providers Orion uses to guide decisions in more active strategies; research additional investment managers for inclusion in existing programs
Oversee relationships with Investment Research Providers (ETF providers, sub advisors, trading desk, etc.) regarding market conditions, trading environment, product updates, etc.
Provide input and recommendations into development of new investment products
We're looking for talent who:
Has knowledge and understanding of tactical asset allocation and different fund management approaches
Has knowledge and understanding of a proficiency in financial and accounting terms and techniques, economics and quantitative analysis
Possess the ability to employ critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Has minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field and preferably a MBA degree
Series 65, license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire) or CFA designation required
Has minimum of 3 years of investment management experience, including demonstrable success in evaluating investment opportunities
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$104,855.00 - $162,413.00The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
