About this Opportunity:

As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for new account establishment, initiating transfers, general account administration, and a variety of financial transactions. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate actioning of advisor and client requests within budget according to defined service level metrics. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Hebron, KY.

For Internal Candidates:
All internal employees, regardless of their current work arrangement (remote or in-office), are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Perform a good order review of all processing requests received into the workflow queues under current Processing team

  • Set up new accounts in Orion Connect

  • Execute all task-types in the queues under their current Processing team

    • Financial Processing Team: Account Closure, Allocation Changes, Case Fin, Check 21, Check Reject, Contribution on Demand, Datafeed, Fee Change, Full Redemption, Homeless Checks, Partial Redemption/Day-2, Systematic Purchase, Systematic Redemption, Trade Internal/Day-2/Day-3, Transfer Out

    • Non-Financial Processing Team: Address Change, Case Non-Fin, House Holding, Maintenance, Move Money, New Account/Wizard, NIGO, Q New Account/Wizard, Q Transfer In, Rep Change, Rep Setup, Service Form, SMA New Account, Transfer In

  • Communicate with advisors via email in an effective, professional manner on requests received not in good order

  • Assist with procedure updates

We're looking for talent who:

  • Has knowledge of investments

  • Possess ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail

  • Has ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities

  • Has minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred, or related field

  • Obtain Orion Industry Certification

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$19.82 - $26.16

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
