The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Solution Sales to support our sales team and drive the growth of our CPG and Consumer Brands. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong technical sales background to make a significant impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Demonstrate the most valuable features/attributes for the product/service, exemplifying how demonstrations should be performed and linked to the customer's most pressing challenges.
- Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
- Collect and analyze market data and intelligence to inform marketing and sales plans. Attend tradeshows when applicable to identify solution growth opportunities and market trends.
- Review of quotations and estimates for complex work across multiple solution projects or workstreams to ensure that appropriate costs and planned resources are accounted for within the defined pricing framework.
- Gather information and resources, draft and complete proposals, and fulfill all process requirements (in terms of deadlines, documentation, etc.) in response to bid solicitations, request for proposal, and request for tender to create the best chance of being awarded the contract.
- Work with the Marketing function to develop and deliver marketing communications, including Data Sheets, White Papers, Blogs, etc., to support the business plan and increase sales.
What You Need:
- Experienced Solution Sales Leader: Proven track record in collecting, managing, and analyzing 1st party data to drive business insights and strategies. Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing direct-to-consumer programs
- Team Leadership: Skilled in supporting high-performing, globally distributed teams, setting direction, and fostering collaboration to achieve common goals.
- Strategic Thinker: Data-driven with a strategic mindset to inform decisions and drive business strategies.
- Digital Leader: Modern consumer app experience, including the integration of behavior gamification, mobile commerce, 3rd party content integration, and data monetization models
- Problem Solver: Able to manage complex information and navigate ambiguity to effectively solve challenges collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders across an organization
- Effective Communicator: Strong communicator who fosters open communication across all levels of an organization, internally and externally.
- Commercial Acumen: Understands business dynamics and profitability factors to drive product decisions driving revenue opportunities and managing expense drivers as part of overall product design
