Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will align with the Enterprise Solutions segment as a trusted partner to business leaders by delivering advanced financial analysis and strategic insights. This role is responsible for overseeing core processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews, while evaluating complex data to inform decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will take ownership of high-impact analyses, support corporate initiatives, and contribute to improving financial processes that enable the company’s long-term success.
Business Unit Supported
Our Enterprise Solutions segment supports the day-to-day operations of convenience retailers and petroleum wholesalers by offering ERP, Fuel Pricing, and Logistics software that enables smoother, more profitable operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, and expenses
  • Act as a business partner to cross-functional team members and operators
  • Explain financial variances in month-end close, budget vs. actuals, and forecast vs. actuals
  • Evaluate complex financial information and reports to provide timely and accurate recommendations to leadership
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of our internal processes – including data strategy
  • Prepare materials and participate in weekly/monthly P&L and Metrics review calls
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and corporate development efforts
  • Support other ad hoc financial projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future. PDI Technologies is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
  • 3+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience, preferably with a software-based company
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple high-priority deliverables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & common Financial ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Adaptive)
  • Strong financial, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • MBA/CPA preferred
  • SQL and data management experience preferred
