PDQ's Core Values: Honesty, Ownership, Collaboration and Improvement

Job Description:

The Sales Manager will lead the team responsible for migrating and expanding PDQ’s existing Deploy & Inventory customer base to PDQ Connect. This role is responsible for building a repeatable conversion motion that balances customer outcomes with PDQ growth, coaching a team of Migration Account Executives through complex account discovery and change-management deals, and creating operating rigor around pipeline, forecasting, and execution.

You will work in close collaboration with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Revenue Operations to reduce friction in the migration journey, accelerate time-to-value, and ensure customers modernize successfully. This is a builder-manager role for a leader who enjoys creating process, enablement, and operating cadence while coaching reps to execute a predictable, value-led migration motion.

You will build and lead a team of 5+ Migration AEs, scaling headcount and performance as the migration motion expands.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to migrate existing Deploy & Inventory customers to PDQ Connect, driving predictable Connect ARR from the install base.
  • Hire, coach, and develop Migration AEs through regular 1:1s, team trainings, deal reviews, demo/pilot reviews, and weekly forecast and pipeline reviews.
  • Establish clear process and accountability across the migration funnel, including stage exit criteria, next-step discipline, and accurate Salesforce hygiene.
  • Partner with Sales Engineers to ensure strong discovery, compelling demos, and high-quality proofs of value aligned to customer workflows and success criteria.
  • Drive consistent execution through pricing-model change conversations by coaching reps on value-based selling, right-sizing initial deployments, and multi-threading across technical and economic stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support to ensure in-flight migrations are set up for adoption, minimizing churn risk and creating future expansion paths.
  • Work with Revenue Operations to improve segmentation, account assignment, reporting, and funnel conversion insights.
  • Provide feedback from the field to inform Connect positioning, enablement, and product roadmap priorities based on repeatable objections and blockers.
  • Forecast targets and report on migration pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue projections for stakeholders.
  • Use Salesforce to manage team execution, track pipeline hygiene, and maintain accurate deal and account records.

We're looking for people who have:

  • Proven experience in B2B SaaS sales leadership, with a track record of building and scaling a repeatable sales motion (expansion, cross-sell, or platform migration preferred).
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Manager or Team Lead capacity, with demonstrated ability to coach and develop reps across the full sales cycle.
  • Strong command of pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline (Salesforce or similar).
  • Experience selling to IT or IT Security personas highly preferred.
  • Comfort leading deals that involve change management, technical validation, security review, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across Sales, SE, CS, Product, and RevOps.

Who you are:

  • Honesty: You demonstrate integrity, transparency, and ethical behavior in all interactions.
  • Ownership: You take responsibility for outcomes, drive clarity, and build systems that scale.
  • Collaboration: You work effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of teamwork.
  • Improvement: You continuously seek opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to raise the team’s performance through consistent feedback and high standards.
  • Strategic thinker who uses data to identify bottlenecks and improve conversion and velocity.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong follow-through and a bias for action.

How success will be measured:

  • Connect ARR sourced from the existing Deploy & Inventory base
  • Migrations completed and/or % of eligible base migrated
  • Conversion rates by stage and average time-to-migrate
  • Forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene
  • Retention impact for accounts in migration (risk identification + mitigation)
