The Opportunity

The Professional Services Sales organization has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic group of services experts. We are looking for qualified candidates with a unique combination of sales and enterprise software services delivery experience. The Services Manager is a key position within Professional Services Sales responsible for partnering with our Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and Renewal Specialists in generating services sales pipeline, positioning the value of our professional services, scoping services work/SOWs to deliver value to customers and achieving Services bookings targets.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the development of sales plans and strategies. Meet sales goals and objectives.
  • Support new sales opportunities utilizing your knowledge and expertise to define planned value outcomes that align to the customer’s needs.
  • Build credibility and trust with the sales team, partners and prospects/customers by acting as a trusted business advisor leveraging your knowledge and background to advise and guide prospects and customers on how to achieve their “to be” state with the fastest path to value.
  • Define and scope the Professional Services effort and estimate cost and schedule to achieve customer objectives while adhering to defined guardrails for “as sold” margin requirements.
  • Prepare and present services proposals to prospects and customers.
  • Prepare and negotiate Statements of Work including terms, pricing, and scope.
  • Meet or exceed defined Bookings and “As Sold” margin targets for project and subscription services offerings.
  • Build and maintain a strong service opportunity pipeline.
  • Provide accurate and up to date reporting on sales activities and progress as required by management.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff to the delivery teams and to ensure cross-team collaboration on cultivating and identifying additional services opportunities in support of customer value achievement.
  • Stay up to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, platform/solutions, and services offerings and methodologies.

What You'll Bring

We are seeking a commercially minded professional with strong business, consulting, sales, and leadership acumen. The ideal candidate brings a customer-first mindset and a proven ability to position and sell services that drive measurable business value.

Preferred Experience

  • Partnering with customer stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Supporting digital and agile transformation initiatives
  • Multi-year experience as a Product, Project, Program, PMO, or EPMO leader, or in a consulting capacity
  • Deploying Lean-Agile and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions
  • Developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and leading contract negotiations
  • Owning bookings forecasts and margin accountability
  • Successfully navigating complex, global organizations
  • Conducting business process analysis and optimization

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., LPM, SAFe, PMP, MBA, CPA)

Additional Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of SaaS implementations and organizational change management
  • Ability to quickly absorb industry knowledge and translate it into services bookings
  • Skilled at facilitating dialogue between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Composed under pressure, with patience across diverse customer environments
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Skills

  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to drive value-based conversations
  • Commercially savvy with clear understanding of margin and project profitability drivers
  • Highly organized self-starter with strong time management skills
  • Experience with the Planview platform preferred
  • Experience co-selling and co-delivering with strategic partners preferred
