The Opportunity

Join Planview's corporate accounting team in Austin, TX — a global, high-growth SaaS company with accounting operations spanning the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, and Israel. This is a front-row seat to the financial operations of a complex, multi-entity, global organization.

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our N. America team from the front — rolling up their sleeves alongside the Team Lead, Accounting, driving continuous improvement, and keeping pace with a global organization that is constantly evolving. You will partner closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and the Director of Accounting, mentor a team including the Team Lead, staff and senior accountants in Austin and India, and play a hands-on role in shaping how our accounting function scales across multiple countries and entities.

Planview has heavily invested in AI and a robust, best-in-class technology stack to support our global operations — including NetSuite, FloQast, Trovata, Tesorio, Ivalua and Concur. You will not just use these tools; you will be expected to know them deeply, improve how we use them, and help bridge our accounting operations with the agentic AI capabilities we are actively building into our workflows.

We are an AI-forward team. You will be expected to highly leverage our AI tools in your daily work and the work of your team and to leverage AI agents within FloQast that automate and elevate how we operate. We invest in our people and our tools — and we expect our people to push both to their limits.

What You'll Do

  • Lead by example alongside a team including the Team Lead, staff and senior accountants in Austin and India — this is a managerial role where you are in the work, not above it. You’ll collaborate across all levels of our global team, working very closely with counterparts who lead our International Accounting teams, Revenue Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Along with the Team Lead, you will manage the following key workstreams:
  • Timely and accurate completion of monthly financial close for the US, Canada & Australia in accordance with GAAP, including working closely with the FP&A team on variance analysis and financial statement reporting.
  • Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations with a focus on expense management using the Ivalua procurement tool, execution quality, and continuous process improvement.
  • Own end-to-end global Travel & Expense management through Concur, ensuring policy compliance, timely reimbursements, and audit-ready records across all entities.
  • Drive T&E adoption and process improvements across international teams, standardizing workflows and improving the employee experience globally.
  • Own FloQast for US, Canada & Australia, our month-end tracking platform for reporting tasks and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Drive the global cash forecasting process, continuing the implementation of Trovata to support scalable, data-driven cash management.
  • Apply NetSuite expertise to optimize workflows, reporting, and integrations as our ERP environment evolves with company growth — bringing curiosity about how AI capabilities within (and connected to) the platform can be leveraged to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Own the preparation of annual consolidated parent company financial statements, including notes and disclosures, as well as certain investor communications.
  • Assist with the annual consolidated parent company US GAAP audit by coordinating with auditors and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Supervise and review payroll and benefits processes for US, Canada & Australia.
  • Own debt and hedge accounting, including interest rate swaps.
  • Challenge the N. America team to leverage AI tools to streamline research, documentation, analysis, and day-to-day accounting workflows.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities where technology can reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.

What You'll Bring

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA license or actively working toward CPA certification.
  • 10+ years of relevant accounting experience; a blend of public accounting and industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth, acquisition-driven environment — comfort with change, integration complexity, and evolving processes is essential. SaaS experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and the ability to conduct independent technical accounting research and work directly with auditors to coordinate the annual global audit.
  • Solid hands-on experience with NetSuite administration and reporting and a genuine curiosity about how its AI features can improve accounting efficiency for the team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; ability to learn new tools, including generative AI functionality.
  • Clear and effective communicator — both written and verbal — with staff and with executive and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot effectively in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and a genuine willingness to adopt new technology to improve how work gets done; prior AI tool experience is a plus.
  • Based in Austin, Texas, with the ability to work in-office on Thursdays.

Growth & Career Path

Planview has completed 13 acquisitions — each one adding complexity, scope, and opportunity for the people doing the work. With each integration, our accounting team has had to evolve, adapt, and level up. That pace of change creates real opportunity for people who want lean in and who enjoy learning and developing new skills. This Senior Manager role is a critical role at Planview with high visibility to senior and executive leadership and is a launchpad to future roles with increasing responsibilities — earned by demonstrating ownership, leadership, and the ability to drive results in a complex, multi-entity, global environment.

You will be mentored by the Chief Accounting Officer and Director of Accounting, exposed to the full breadth of our global operations, and positioned at the intersection of systems evolution, AI adoption, and organizational growth. Few roles in corporate accounting offer this combination of hands-on impact and upward trajectory.

We believe the accountants who will lead this profession are those who combine deep technical rigor with the ability to harness AI, navigate complexity, and continuously improve how teams work. This is your opportunity to lead a team that is in the midst of this journey and heavily influence the future of how we’ll work together in the future at Planview.
