As an Implementation Consultant at Planview, you will play a pivotal role in enabling customers to achieve measurable business outcomes through the successful implementation of Planview ProjectAdvantage. Working closely with customers, Solution Architects, and internal delivery teams, you will translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and value-driven configurations of our project portfolio management platform.
This role requires strong functional expertise, consulting capability, and the ability to foster collaboration across customer and internal teams. You will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the full implementation lifecycle — from discovery and design through to go-live and handover to Customer Success.

What You'll Do
Customer Engagement & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for Planview ProjectAdvantage, guiding customers through discovery, design, configuration, testing, and go-live phases.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with customer leadership, PMO, and IT stakeholders to understand current-state challenges and define the desired PPM architecture.
- Translate business requirements into scalable platform configurations, workflows, and stage-gate processes aligned to customer objectives.
- Manage customer expectations, proactively identify risks, and escalate blockers with appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support change management activities to drive user adoption and ensure customers realise measurable value from their ProjectAdvantage investment.
- Configure Planview ProjectAdvantage to address portfolio management, resource capacity planning, project scheduling, financial tracking, and reporting requirements.
- Design and implement standardized project templates, lifecycle workflows, and demand intake processes tailored to the customer’s delivery methodology.
- Configure role-based dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into portfolio health and delivery performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, responding to customer questions and providing best-practice guidance throughout the implementation engagement.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless handover and long-term customer success.
- Contribute to the evolution of Planview’s implementation methodology, tools, templates, and best-practice documentation.
- Share knowledge and lessons learned across the Professional Services team to support continuous improvement and practice development.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in a software implementation, consulting, or business analysis role, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Demonstrated experience implementing Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Work Management, or ERP solutions for mid-to-large enterprises.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, frameworks, and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Stage-Gate, hybrid).
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to executive and technical audiences alike.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, outcomes-focused approach to delivery.
- Professional-level proficiency in English and either German or French, both written and verbal, isrequired
- Hands-on experience with Planview ProjectAdvantage (formerly Sciforma) or other Planview products such as Planview Portfolios, PPM Pro, or AdaptiveWork.
- Experience with portfolio governance, resource capacity planning, and financial management within a PPM context.
- Familiarity with BI, ERP, or ITSM integration scenarios (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP, Power BI)
- PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification.
