Summary
The Public Finance Associate prepares, organizes, and creates detailed financial documents for municipal debt issues, including continuing disclosure and closing assistance. They may also interpret financial data to aid in funding public projects and collaborate with officials or senior staff to analyze related reports. The position participates throughout all stages of a municipal bond financing, from initial information gathering to closing and post-issuance continuing disclosure.
Essential Functions
- Consistently demonstrates exceptional internal and external service with clients.
- Steward of compliance, coordinates with company staff to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations and reports.
- Works directly with public finance advisors and other staff to provide quantitative and other support as requested.
- Prepare financing calendars, distribution lists, official statements or term sheets and closing memos for debt issuance transactions.
- Prepare summary of continuing disclosure filing requirements and review filing history for clients.
- Review data tables in official statements for accuracy.
- Prepare notices and correspondence as directed.
- Assist with preparation of responses to request for proposals and presentations.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education and/o Experience
Education: An associate degree (or equivalent experience) is required; with a four-year college degree preferred.
Experience: Related experience preferred.

Licenses, Registrations and Certifications
Regulatory Licensures: Series 50 or, if Series 50 is not yet obtained, successful completion of Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) is preferred.
