Location: Naperville, IL (Hybrid: In-office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Remote Tuesday, Friday)

Cash Management Associate – Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Provide exceptional participant experience by answering phone inquiries, responding to emails, addressing and coordinating with Managed Service Provider to resolve all client requests timely.
  • Maintain access to online cash management systems, including creating, entitling, modifying, and deleting users at the instruction of management or from an authorized client.
  • Provide assistance to new and existing online cash management users including log on instruction, password resets, and guidance on accessing different service entitlements.
  • Compile information about new accounts, order new accounts, enter account information into computers, and file related forms or other documents.
  • Responding to request to update bank check signors, add fraud protections to bank accounts, and assist clients with any bank docs or transaction research needed.
  • Maintain records; adding new material to file records, documenting filed or removed data, using logs, logbooks, or computers and\or filing systems.
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered; classifying information according to guidelines, such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
  • Utilize Customer Service Management System to track client requests through completion.
  • Perform data stewardship to ensure accuracy of source data used throughout the firm.
  • Respond timely to Managed Services firm with regards to client information requests.
  • Daily oversight of Managed Service provider for completion, accuracy, and timeliness of their performance.
  • Periodic audit of Managed Service provider outputs.
  • Process audit confirmation requests for Fund Participants.
  • Perform a variety of beginning-of-month and end-of-month tasks and duties.
  • Assist in the pulling copies of statements for distribution to various internal departments
  • Provide coverage for vacation, sick and personal days of team members.
  • Perform special projects as needed and assigned.

  • The position requires good judgment, strong attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Organizational skills and management of priorities are necessary to succeed in this position.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively with employees of all levels within the company.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.

Competencies Required

Computer Skills:

  • Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must be able to work closely in a team environment.
  • Must be able to evaluate problems as they occur daily and resolve them in cooperation with co-workers.

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to work closely with the other client service associates, analysts and management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary to succeed.

Other Training, Education, Special Skills Required:

Education/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Banking background strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and mutual fund industry is beneficial.
