The Engage business within Precisely is seeking an experienced, quota-carrying partner manager with deep knowledge of Customer Engagement Solutions (CES) and Customer Communications Management (CCM). Reporting directly to the VP EMEA & APAC, the Senior Partner Manager will play a critical role in driving the growth of our Engage business across the region. The successful candidate will have strong connections across our core industries (Banking, Insurance, Telco and Utilities), as well as a network within larger consulting firms through which they will drive growth in our partner eco-system. They will also display strong entrepreneurial characteristics including: good judgment; impeccable business ethics; strategic thinking; business planning; drive and energy; and the ability to work autonomously, while communicating effectively and aligning with key stakeholders in the business. This is a “roll your sleeves up” role that will require the successful candidate to orchestrate their own business, coordinating multiple resources from internal and external teams, and taking ownership and accountability for successful commercial outcomes.
You will:
- Proactively seek out, build and maintain relationships with senior leadership and operational teams at partner organisations.
- Be responsible for indirect sales, including net new business as well as growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Support partners in identifying, prospecting, managing and closing new opportunities.
- Work with partners to establish jointly agreed account and territory strategies.
- Act as a business consultant to partners, sharing your extensive knowledge and insight into prospective clients’ business processes, while linking Precisely Engage offerings to the agendas of senior executives.
- Support partners in pricing and contract negotiations, while enforcing Precisely pricing and booking policies.
- Meet and exceed quota standards.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of internal, cross-functional relationships.
- Communicate with partners on product and company direction to find future synergies
- Conduct regular assessments of partner performance, and recruit new partners as indicated by company strategy and growth.
You have:
- 10+ years of experience selling enterprise-class software solutions specifically related to customer communications, customer engagement, and/or customer analytics.
- 5 to 10 years of experience selling primarily or exclusively through a partner / reseller / distributor eco-system.
- Proven history of hitting quota targets primarily through revenue-generating partners.
- Substantial experience in coaching partners to perform successfully.
- Detailed understanding of SaaS, Hosted Managed Service, and On-Premise enterprise software
- Detailed understanding of Software contracts and license management.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with MEDDIC, Challenger Sales, Solution Sales, or other consultative sales techniques.
- Native English speaker, other languages a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
- Based in the United Kingdom
Approx 25% Travel required
