  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into systematic cloud-based designs suitable for multiple tenants.
  • Drive the adoption and adaptation of best practices in cloud-native development, containerization, and distributed systems to ensure each tenant's isolated and efficient operation.
  • Optimize and refactor both the existing software architecture and cloud infrastructure to maximize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness for multi-tenancy.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in cloud-native methodologies, distributed systems design, and multi-tenancy best practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends in cloud technologies, distributed computing, and SaaS solutions to continually refine our offerings.
  • Lead architectural review discussions focused on cloud, distributed systems, and multi-tenancy considerations, ensuring that solutions are innovative, consistent, and technically sound.
  • Establish and enforce architectural guidelines and standards for cloud deployments, microservices architectures, distributed data storage, and tenant isolation.
  • Pilot proof-of-concept initiatives for new cloud technologies, tools, and architectural patterns with a keen eye on multi-tenancy efficiency.
  • Directly contribute to code, while working with the team to uphold coding standards and shape future development initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in an architectural capacity focused on cloud, distributed systems, and multi-tenancy.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
  • Mastery in cloud-native technologies and platforms, e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Kafka, MongoDB, AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles, including but not limited to, CAP theorem, data partitioning, and microservices patterns.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing multi-tenanted services in major cloud platforms.
