Intro and job overview:

We are currently looking for a QA Engineer who will join Customer Engagement Solutions business line, working on communication products used across the in serverless technology. We’re looking for the candidates who are passionate in QA and keen on learning new skills and participate in whole feature development process. Your work will be related to writing automated tests as well as manual testing and quality assurance process.

You will:

  • Be responsible for performing QA tasks for serverless Angular application, deployed on AWS
  • Participate in the design and implementation of features
  • Identify issues and work in scrum team throughout the development cycle
  • Working in SCRUM methodology with 2 weeks sprints, which are followed by sprint review
  • Work with international UX team and Product Management
  • Use English in daily communication

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Write, maintain, review and execute manual test cases, test plans; investigate, log, track and retest defects (45%)
  • Track test execution in Git (20%)
  • Write and maintain test automation that ensures thorough feature and/or product testing (15%)
  • Working closely with Product Owner and UX team on designing and developing new features, (10 %)
  • Define, refine and review acceptance criteria for projects as appropriate (10%)

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as QA delivering commercial software solutions
  • Ability to work on-site from the office in Bielsko-Biała, at least 3 days in a week
  • Quality assurance experience with UI testing (based on UX designs)
  • Quality assurance experience with web applications using REST
  • Cloud environment experience (i.e. AWS)
  • Strong communicator to work with other internal teams

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience of create and maintain UI automated acceptance tests in Playwright, Protractor/Selenium, Cucumber and typescript
  • Experience working in an agile environment,
  • Experience in performance testing
  • Experience in REST API test automation,
  • Experience with Serverless, Docker,
  • ISTQB
