Intro and job overview:

The Sales Engineer will work with the Precisely-Automate Sales team to deliver online and in person product demonstrations, proof of concepts and pre-sales presentations. This position acts as the trusted technical advisor when engaging with customers, prospects, and partners. The primary focus is to influence potential customers of Precisely’s technical superiority, while collaborating and supporting Precisely’s Account Executives in their efforts to champion and sell Precisely-Automate products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Uses knowledge of SAP and Precisely products and processes to assess and educate customers on the value of the Precisely products using consultative selling skills.
  • Builds in-depth knowledge of clients’ technical priorities, challenges and initiatives and maps those needs to Winshuttle products and services.
  • Builds relationships within the account to become the trusted technical advisor.
  • Responsible for working with Account Executives in proposing solutions that meet customers’ needs.
  • Create and maintain pre-sales material and collateral.
  • Develop and implement proof of concept sessions with potential customers.
  • Deliver pre-sales presentations to customers, prospects, webinars and events.
  • Deliver online and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Up to 50% Travel.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Atleast 2 years of work experience in either technical pre-sales, consulting or solution delivery role.
  • SAP consulting and/or working experience would preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a consultative SAP enterprise environment.
  • SAP certified in either Master Data or FICO would be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree is a must.
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise DQ, MDM, Data Governance tools/solutions or Financial accounting processes.
  • Basic Technical and Programming skills e.g. REST APIs, ABAP Programming, Web-services, JSON, Javascript, SQL.
  • Hand-on experience in working with SAP Tools like: FIORI, SAP Migration cockpit, SAP Data services.
  • Fluency in English and German language would be preferred.
