Intro and job overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Director to lead our product marketing and demand generation efforts for Precisely's Enrich PlaceIQ suite of data and software products. The PlaceIQ Marketing director will coordinate with Precisely’s central marketing team and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing marketing strategies that generate leads and increase sales. The Marketing Director will report directly to Enrich’s SVP, and collaborate closely with product, sales, and business development teams to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies and campaigns to drive lead generation and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop marketing content that drives product awareness and revenue growth
  • Manage the team's marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
  • Work with the larger Precisely corporate team (brand design, PR, Events, and Digital, etc.) to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with branding and messaging strategies
  • Collaborate with external agencies, partners, and vendors to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives – such as webinars, case studies, partner promotion
  • Stay up to date with B2B and B2C industry trends and best practices to ensure that marketing strategies and messaging are innovative and effective

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation with a B2B technology company
  • Experience working with software products similar to Precisely's Enrich PIQ (data, enrichment, location intelligence)
  • Experience owning and managing marketing budget/spend in relation to campaigns
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and tactics, including email marketing, content marketing, and sales enablement/collateral management
  • Experience crafting elegant messaging, and a passion for thinking about the best ways in which ideas and concepts can be communicated to prospects and customers
  • Experience working cross-functionally as a liaison between product and sales teams
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of marketing professionals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and tell marketing stories
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Eloqua
