Intro and job overview:

As a member of the Product Management Team, understand market trends within our existing and target market customers, and be able to translate needs to business requirements, functional use cases, and solution descriptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the overall market and assist the product management team in identifying areas of opportunity based on market research and customer needs. Become the subject matter expert (SME) on the product portfolio and play a key role in supporting sales opportunities product development.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Help with defining, executing, and aligning stakeholders on the product vision and strategy for your product(s).
• Interact with customers and key stakeholders to develop a complete understanding of the business problems and trends in our target markets then translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Share and incorporate feedback on the functional specifications from all stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions are applicable to the market as a whole to expand usage and provide new revenue opportunities.
• Support Product Marketing Managers on competitive analysis and market research activities.
• Assist in developing and managing pricing and packaging for your offering.
• Partner with Product Owners to elaborate on requirements and facilitate Agile Scrum requirements processes.
• Provide team leadership through communication, and coordination of cross functional teams at all levels of the organization.
• Responsible for socializing product ideas with customers and the broader Precisely organization.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical field.
• Equivalent experience will be accepted in place of the education requirement.
• Experience in enterprise software technologies and implementations.
• Experience with basic data integration concepts (ETL, Change Data Capture, Data Streaming, etc.).
• Experience with major cloud vendors (AWS, Google, Microsoft, etc.) and the services they provide.
• Ability to convey complex issues in a straightforward manner.
• Desire to be technology curious, keep up in reasonably technical conversations.
• Ability to present solutions and technical concepts to both technical and non technical users.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills with ability to present to large and small audiences.
• Previous business analysis, product management experience.
• Additional experience in the data integration or metadata management software space.
• Experience with SaaS software delivery.
• Previous experience demonstrating enterprise software to users / customers.
